CKN and EKN to cover Monaco de Trois-Rivieres live
CKN to cover Monaco de Trois-Rivières LIVE...

canadiankartingnews.com and ekartingnews.ca will cover the Monaco de Trois-Rivières LIVE
Trois-Rivières has a long and colourful history in motorsports with the Grand Prix du Trois-Rivières. They have seen most types of racing from thunderous Can-Am cars to twitchy Formula Fords. For the past 9 years the city has also hosted one of the most unique and picturesque venues for karting at it's highest level. The Petit Monaco features one of the most challenging courses with a long tunnel that can trick the drivers, tight corners, a variety of track surfaces and multiple chicanes along the edge of the St. Lawrence River.

"We chose the name Monaco de Trois-Rivières because of how the track is laid out. Like the Grand Prix in Monaco, Monaco de Trois-Rivières features a tunnel and is held along the water," said François Bellemare, event President.

Over its previous 9 editions, Monaco de Trois-Rivières has carved a choice place for itself among Quebec’s karting competitions. It is one of the rare races to attract over 20 000 spectators. The event has continually improved since it was first held in 1999, with a racetrack that has been refined over the years and the addition of a four-day auto show. Held on Rue des Forges, between Notre-Dame and Du Fleuve, the auto show is revamped each year to keep it fresh and exciting.

CanadianKartingNews.com will once again be part of this event with LIVE coverage from the track on both Saturday and Sunday.
